Bollywood star Sridevi Kapoor, considered one of the greatest actresses in Indian cinema, died in Dubai from a heart attack, her family told Press Trust of India on Sunday (February 25th). India (PTI).
The 54-year-old actress likely made the attack at the wedding of one of her nephews on Saturday night in the emirate, according to PTI. Shree Amma Yanger Ayappan made her camera debut in the late 1960’s at the age of four. She has played in dozens of films, including “Chandni”, “Mr India”, “Mawali” and “Tohfa”.
On Sunday, many Indians were sad to learn of the death. Many have published tributes on social networks including Prime Minister Narendra Modi:
